Augmented Reality is an enhanced version of reality. It supplements the world around you. This requires a trigger (usually printed from a website) and a device with a rear-facing camera with the apps downloaded. Click here for Augmented Reality Tools to use in the classroom. There are books available for purchase that come to life using an Augmented Reality app. I have a list of some that are available from Amazon.
Virtual Reality is a computer-generated version of a 3D image or environment. This requires special equipment such as Google Cardboard or other headsets and apps. With Google Cardboard, you insert your phone with the proper apps into the headset. Click here for Virtual Reality apps to use with Google Cardboard.
